About Us
We are a small group of outdoor enthusiasts, athletes and professionals who wanted a free, simple classifieds listing that was free of garage sale items and random luggage - just outdoor gear. Secondly, we like to see gear live a long healthy life before it hits the landfill. And so here we are. We take a lot of things seriously, but definitely don't take ourselves too seriously.Cast of Characters
"P"That's me. What does "P" stand for? Paddler? Pipetter? iGearList Proprieter? Take your pick! I am unequal parts scientist, outdoor educator, paddler, swimmer, mountain biker, runner, and skier. A gear-dunce, I've been known to pack a folding chair on backpacking trips. As a newly anointed ultra-runner I'm learning to pare things down... "Queen"
When I set out to assemble a kick-a** team for iGearList, I asked my friend, an ultra-running landscape architect with zero dot-com experience, to join in on the internet fun. When I asked: "What would you like your title to be?" the reply was: "Queen!" Owing to her keen sense of gear, I crowned her "Gear Queen" and she will answer any of your gear questions. One thing: don't call her "LuLu", unless you want your hair blown back. "LuLu" picked her title: "Director of Business Development" but, Queen and I liked "LuLu" better. You can reach her any time at 867-5309, unless she's on her bike, which is a LOT. "LuLu" is reknown for her taste in music. No road trip is complete with out one of her mixes in the player.
